EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ART DEDICATED TO THE INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY
It is little known that on April 29th the International Dance Day is celebrated. This initiative of the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) within UNESCO was established in 1982 with the aim of celebrating dance and the founder of modern ballet, Jean-Georges Noverre, born on April 29, 1727. The International Association “Euro Foto Art” in partnership with Summit Agro Romania and the Sports Dance Association “Stephany Dance Academy” (CDSS) in partnership with the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Oradea and the Region has prepared for the lovers of sports dance and to mark this day a photo exhibition, installed in the Showcase Gallery of the EFA Exhibition Center Oradea – Romania (Body E ground floor of the Princely Palace in the inner courtyard of the medieval Fortress of Oradea). The exhibition organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) recognized by UNESCO includes a selection of 20 photographs dedicated to the celebration of 10 years of performance of the athlete Tóth István-Aramisz and the 25th anniversary of the CDSS activity.

All the images can be admired on the AIEFA site: https://eurofotoart.ro/expo-foto-art-lumea-dansului-sportiv/ CDSS was founded a quarter of a century ago by the multiple Romanian Champions in sports dance Noémi-Katalin and István Tóth, respectively by the photographer artist Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP. This club has become one of the most representative Clubs in Romania and Europe. In this Club were also trained sports dancers who became professionals in Germany, USA, etc. In this Club was raised and trained the sports dancer Tóth István-Aramisz (student in the 12th grade at “Mihai Eminescu” College in Oradea), who in this decade managed to become: finalist at the World and European Latin American Championships, Champion of Romania in Sports Dance and Champion of Hungary in Sports Dance. The exhibition will remain available to visitors until 29.05.2025, daily between 08:00 – 20:00, which can be visited in the showcases of the EFA Exhibition Center in the inner courtyard of the medieval Fortress of Oradea. The exhibited works will also be projected on the screens in the means of transport of the city of Oradea, thanks to the protocol concluded between AIEFA and OTL SA.
