International photography exhibition: ”CE TE LEGENI CODRULE”

International photography exhibition dedicated to National Culture Day

The Exhibition Center “Euro Foto Art”, Gallery “Mezey Lajos”, located on the second floor of the second section of the Museum of the City of Oradea, belonging to the Museum “Țării Crișurilor” was packed on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, where at 11:00 a.m. took place a complex event dedicated to the National Culture Day, broadcast live on the Association’s facebook: https://www.facebook.com/EFAExhibitionCenterOradea/videos/623022550117395 . At the event organized by the International Association of “Euro Photo Art” (AIEFA) in partnership with Summit Agro Romania and “Țării Crișurilor” Museum Complex Museum, through the service of the Museum of the City of Oradea, the guests of honor were the students of the National Colleges “Emanuil Gojdu”, led by prof. Corina Păcurar and “Mihai Eminescu” who were guided by prof. Magda Botezat. The event took place in the framework of the Romanian and Hungarian Culture Week (15-22 January), integrated in the 13th edition of the International Photography Festival “Carol Pop de Szathmári – Szathmári Pap Károly”, organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), recognized by UNESCO. On this occasion, the International Photographic Art Exhibition entitled “Ce te legeni codrule” was opened, with prizes and medals. The theme of the contest is inspired by the poetry of Mihai Eminescu. The project involved creative members of AIEFA and its 62 partner organizations in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, as well as other sympathetic members. All images can be admired on AIEFA website: https://eurofotoart.ro/salon-internationational-de-arta-fotografica-ce-te-legeni-codrule/ The audience was welcomed by Dr. Diana Iancu, representative of the Oradea City Museum service, who welcomed the initiative of organizing this event dedicated to the National Culture Day. Mrs. Dr. ing. Patricia Maria Știrbu President “Agro Summit” Romania, Bulgaria, Adria and Republic of Moldova, emphasized in her speech the important role that the company that she honorably leads for the development of Romanian agriculture, which permanently supports the culture of our country. Prof. Anca Marchiș, director of the National High School “Emanuil Gojdu” (CNEG), has appreciated the special collaboration with AIEFA since 2021, and Prof. Ioan Cadar, deputy director of the National High School “Mihai Eminescu” (CNME), presented the events organized during this period at the school, but also those in which he participates with great pleasure, such as this event. During the event the students from cl. IX.from CNEG prepared by prof. Corina Păcurar: Cristina Acsinte recited Mihai Eminescu’s poem entitled “Arât de fragedă”, and Catinca Madar recited the poem entitled “Mai am un singur dor”. CNME student Ianis Vedinas (cl. XI B.) interpreted Mihai Eminescu’s poem “Atât de fragedă” (So young) on voice and guitar. At the end of the exhibition, the photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, president of AIEFA and curator of the exhibition, handed over the prizes offered by the organizers in a festive setting. Musical moments were offered by Rock Filarmonica Oradea artists: Florian Chelu Madeva Chelu (guitar) and Alexandrina Chelu Schorr (vocals), who performed the songs “Coborârea apelor”, “Și dacă”, “Sătul de lucru”, “Sonet satiric” and “Răsai asupra mea”. The exhibition will remain open to the public at the Museum of the City of Oradea until February 27, 2025. It can be visited from Tuesday through Sunday between 09:00-17:00. The exhibited works will also be projected on the screens of the means of transportation of the municipality of Oradea, thanks to the protocol between AIEFA and OTL SA.
