KMFT (HU) members international exhibition


International Photographic Art Exhibition from the Carpathian Basin

It has become a tradition for the International Association “Euro Foto Art” to organize, together with the Carpathian Basin Institute (Kárpát-medence Intézet – KMI) from Szeged (HU), the annual exhibition of the Hungarian Photographic Society of the Carpathian Basin (KMFT) of the KMI. The exhibition, organized in partnership with Summit Agro Romania, enjoys the auspices of the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), recognized by UNESCO. Each creative member could participate in the selection with 3 images created during the past year. The works were selected online via the ZOOM platform by the KMFT members, who accepted 89 photographs for display. The photographs were taken by the photographic artists: Barát Attila (SRB), Bánfi Barnabás (HU), Bánházi Gyöngyi (RO), Cseke Sándor (RO), Csíki János (RO), Dobán Dorina (UA), Fábián Gergely (SK), Gombár Mária (HU), Guzsvány Réka (SRB), Halász Eszter Blanka (RO), Hátszegi Csaba (RO), Héjja Árpád (RO), Hős Norbert AFIAP (SRB), Jusztin László (SRB), Kajtár Tibor (HU), Kenéz Emese (RO), Kenéz Éva (HU), Kertész Hajnalka (RO), Kovács Orsolya (RO), Labancz István (RO), Lukács Mária (HU), Moldován Mihály EFIAPs (RO), Morvay Szabó Edina EFIAP (RO), Ótos András (SRB), Solyom Ernő AFIAP (RO), Somogyvári Ferenczi Éva (SK), Szabó Béla EFIAP (HU), Szabó Géza (RO), Szilágyi Barbara (RO), Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP (RO), Tóth Tamás (RO), Úri Erika (HU), Ürge Mátyás (SK) and Dr. Vegerea Melinda (HU) will be displayed on the walls of the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery, FIAP Exhibition Center Oradea – Romania, in the Princely Palace of the Oradea medieval Fortress (Building B, ground floor). The exhibition will become itinerant and will be opened in several cities in Serbia, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Ukraine. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the “Matei Stegerean” Gallery within the EFA Exhibition Center Oradea-Romania, to which the organizers invite all photography lovers to participate.

The audience present at the event will be greeted by photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, president of AIEFA and vice-president of KMFT. The musical moments of the opening will be provided by Thurzó Sándor József, representative of the Community and Cultural Association Sola Fide (SFKKE), who will perform several pieces from the Hungarian repertoire: “Evening in Szeklerland” by Bartók Béla, “Menuetto” by Macalik Alfréd, “Slovak Dance” by Bartók Béla, “Aroso” and “Fugato” by Eszlári Erzsébet, and “Piece, op. 64, no. 1” by Popper Dávid (adaptation for solo viola by the performer)

The exhibited photographs will also be visible on screens in the modern means of transport of the city of Oradea, thanks to the protocol concluded between AIEFA and OTL SA. The exhibition will be available to visitors until June 26, 2025, on Mondays and Wednesdays between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with free public access!
