Opening of the annual exhibition of the members of the International Association “Euro Foto Art”
The International Association “Euro Foto Art” (AIEFA) in partnership with Summit Agro Romania and the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Oradea and Region (APTOR) has prepared a new exhibition of photographic art for the visiting public. This time the best 82 images made by 24 AIEFA members were installed on the screens of the EFA Exhibition Centre, Mezey Lajos Gallery. The photos were taken by the photographers: Ahmed Mohamed Hassan – EFIAPs (SA), Antal Eugen (RO), Bánházi Gyöngyi (RO), Berinde-Sora Mariana (RO), Borbély Johanna-Eszter (A), Veaceslav Bruma (MD), Paul Bock (USA), Mirela Cacuci (RO), Csíki János (RO), Halász Eszter (RO), Ioan Roxin (F), Indrieș Marius (CZ), Kocsis Csaba (HU), Eszter-Emese Lázár (M), Lennert Géza (SRB), Sorin Markus (RO), Morvay-Szabó Edina (RO), Ovi D. Pop EFIAPd (RO), Scubli Mariana (RO), Stan Gelu EFIAP (RO), Gelu Stan AFIAP (RO), Valentina Stan EFIAPd2 (RO), Szabó Géza (RO) and Üveges Emil (HU). The exhibited photographs can also be admired on the website of the International Association “Euro Foto Art ” : https: //eurofotoart.ro/expozitia-anuala-efa/ The opening of the exhibition took place on Thursday, 28.03.2024 at 18.00 and was broadcast live on the Facebook page of the association: https: //www.facebook.com/EFAExhibitionCenterOradea The public present was welcomed by the photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP president of AIEFA, who presented the results obtained by the well-known Association during the year. “Last year also meant for us the move of AIEFA headquarters from Building C, first floor, to the new building in Building E, ground floor of the Medieval Fortress of Oradea and the national premiere opening of the EFA Exhibition Centre, which includes 3 galleries with a maximum capacity of over 200 standard format photographs. In the new exhibition space 26 international exhibitions of photographic art were opened last year. It is to be appreciated that the opening of the exhibition of the Kazakh photographer Bolat Aimagambetov was also attended by his ambassador to Romania, His Excellency Yerik Ali”, underlined the President of AIEFA in his speech. The exhibition of the photographer Veaceslav Bruma from Chisinau (Moldova) was then opened. The exhibition includes a selection of 30 photographs taken in the last period of time by the new creative member of AIEFA from the neighbouring country. The artistic photographer was born in Chisinau, at the age of 15 he started to be interested in photography and for many years photography became the meaning of his creative life. After graduating from school in 1967, he began working for Moldovan television as a sound operator, then cameraman. After graduating from the Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in 1981 in St. Petersburg (RUSS) he became a documentary film director at the Telefilm-Chișinău studio. The art critic Dr. Ramona Novicov underlined in her speech that “I am happy to note that the photographer was inspired by a subject that is representative for the Republic of Moldova: life and wine and the joy of living… The photographs on display take you into the festive atmosphere of Moldovan wine”. Musical moments were offered by the violin artist Sándor József Thurzó, representative of the Community and Cultural Association Sola Fide (SFKKE), who performed “Romance oubliée” by Ferenc Liszt, “Evening Song” by Ludovic Feldman, “Ave Maria” by Andor Soós and “Din drâmboaie” by Hilda Jerea (Arrangement. for viola” by the performer) It is to be appreciated that the photos exhibited will be available on the new AIEFA website: https://eurofotoart.ro/expozitia-personala-veaceslav-bruma-r-moldova/ and on the screens of the means of transport in Oradea, thanks to the protocol concluded between AIEFA and OTL SA. The new exhibition will remain available to the public until 25 April 2024. On Mondays and Wednesdays from 14:00 to 18:00, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 14:00, public access is free!
