Emotional meeting at the diplomats’ club in the capital

On Friday, 12 January 2024, at 18.00 in the Ambassador’s Hall of the Diplomatic Club in King Michael I Park in Romania, the farewell reception offered by His Excellency Mr. Hiroshi Ueda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Romania, on the occasion of the accomplishment of his diplomatic mission, was held. Patricia Maria ȘtirbuPresident of “Summit Agro” Romania (SAROM) and the photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, President of the International Association “Euro Foto Art” (AIEFA). On this occasion, the two guests from Oradea presented His Excellency with the Diploma of Honorary Member of the International Association number 32, as a sign of gratitude for the support given to the promotion of the photographic art in the two countries. It is to be appreciated that His Excellency collaborated in the realization of several joint cultural projects organized by AIEFA in partnership with SAROM, such as the exhibition of photographic art entitled “People and landscapes of Romania and Japan” opened on 10 December 2021 in the medieval fortress of Oradea and attended by the Japanese diplomat. The Ambassador of Japan also honored with his presence and spoke at the celebration organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Sumit Agro Romania, which took place on 15 December 2022 in the “C. A. Rosetti” Hall of the Palace of the Romanian Parliament, during which the art exhibitions were opened.His Excellency was also present and spoke at the opening of the international exhibition of photographic art entitled “Folk Traditions from Romania and Japan” on 5 October 2023 at the Romanian Parliament. It is to be appreciated that His Excellency’s messages were also published in the two albums of the exhibitions of Romanian and Japanese photographers. During the reception, the two diplomats from Oradea met again with the ambassadors of India H.E. Rahul Shrivastava and Egypt H.E. Moayad Eldalie with whom AIEFA and SAROM collaborated in the realization of some exhibition projects opened in the “Euro Foto Art” Gallery, FIAP Exhibition Center in the section of the Museum of Oradea in the Medieval Fortress of Oradea, in the presence of the two diplomats, with whom the new joint exhibition projects for this year were reviewed.
