Opening of the exhibition of the members of the Photographic Club “Nufărul” in Budapest

On Wednesday 17 April 2024, at 17:00 local time, the Magyar Fotográfiai Egyesület (Association of Hungarian Photographers) in Belgrád rkp., Budapest, hosted the opening of the exhibition of the members of the “Nufărul” Photographic Club of Oradea. On this occasion 45 photos taken by the photographers were exhibited: Constantin Liviu Demeter, Kenéz Emese, Laura Haiduc (Canada), Eugen Munteanu, Nicoleta Gabor, Petrila Gheorghe EFIAP, Ovi D. Pop EFIAPg, Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP, Claudiu Szabó EFIAP and Gelu Vrabie. The audience present at the event was welcomed by the photographer Mészáros Ödön, vice-president of the Association of Hungarian Photographers, who underlined in his speech the good partnership relations existing between the two twinned Photoclubs and shared his personal impressions of the openings he personally attended over the years in Oradea. As no CFNO member attended the event, the founding president of CFNO photographer Ștefan Tóth István AFIAP, ESFIAP delivered a message, which was read during the opening. The president of CFNO wanted to specify in the document sent that “In a month we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the signing of the twinning protocol of the two photo clubs in Oradea on September 22, 2000 with the late president of the Hungarian Photographers Association, the photographer Hidas András, which gave us the opportunity to open dozens of exhibitions of photographers from Oradea and Budapest in the two cities”. On this occasion the president of CFNO invited the photographers from Budapest to participate in Oradea in autumn this year, to the opening of a joint anniversary exhibition”.
